Mayor Buckley's Candidate won't Debate?
Andre Carson who is supported by Mayor Dennis Buckley is refusing to debate Carlos May tomorrow night at the Beech Grove Community Center. Remember Mayor Dennis Buckley was campaigning for Andre Carson and Barack Obama recently and was photographed with Andre Carson whining about Amtrak when Barack Obama, Andre Carson, and Mayor Dennis Buckley have done NOTHING to restore the $250,000.00 dollars a year in Property Taxes that Amtrak was exempted for paying during none other than Mayor Warner Wiley's tenure. If any of these supposed public servants really cared about Beech Grove they would have acted to help the citizens of Beech Grove instead of just using the workers at Amtrak as pawns to get a photo op to get re elected. Ask Andre Carson why he won't debate. Ask Mayor Buckley why he is supporting a guy who won't debate. I am amazed that people are putting up with this from people they voted into office.

Kevin this belongs in another thread but I have a concern with school system employees not a teacher or administrator sharing personal student information with others in there personal lives. Initially the school system was called and the employee in question was complained on anonymously but this has occurred again. I can send you more details via email if you would like.

Ok just got home from the Town Hall meeting. Here is the skinny, Goers was a no show, Prindle has attitude about being forced by Kaiser to be there...she fell asleep a couple of times...looked to back of room at table where Kaiser, King, and Stevens were sitting for nod on giving proper ansers. Mobley fell asleep as well and she was accompanied by her not yet convicted patronage of a husband who got shitty because his question wasnt included in the group that were asked. Jarvis was his usual self, nuff said. Mayor Blowhards candidate..Veronica..she couldnt answer to many questions as she only has young child, well honey, you are on the school board for ALL the schools, guess your out. Storey, well just keep letting your hubby do the work, not impressed. Last but not least, Spitz, well now finally a candidate. Spoke very well on the answers she knew about and deferred on the question about bus drivers recieving all year pay. Anyone else after words notice Bye, King, Kaiser, Stevens, and another few congratulating her on her performance after the meeting. Seems as though my opinion is correct. All I see to vote for right now is Spitz, good luck to her. Also, if you dont believe me, Bell said he was gonna get it up on the BG website, check it out for yourself. Good Luck to All, but Better luck for our children that these people will represent!!
Can someone plz explain how politics play a role in the school board and why the Mayor was in attendance tonight at the Town Hall Meeting and had a closed door meeting w/ locked doors afterwards with Dr. Kaiser and current school board members running again?
12:15 i was wondering that also. then i figured that he was begging for their help with his failed candidate Veronica Justice. Man was to much stuttering for me. willingness to learn isnt gonna cut it with me. my children on have 12 years in school. Definitely not voting for her after last nights perfromance. Hurry Kaiser or bell get that video on the net so people can see what i saw
Totally agreed! You have 1 seasoned candidate that was totally ticked because it was being taped, w/ major attitude and doodled thru the meeting. Whom also openly admitted that in a financial crisis, she would just listen to the administrators (experts) as she called them, and take there advice. No research or work on her own. Then you have VJ that knows nothing yet about the system or what really happens in the school system and due to inexperience will simply be a follower. You have TS that altho spoke well, cannot look you in the eye which, says alot, however did have a couple good comments, NM that wouldn't speak up against a mouse if her life depended on it, however, very nice, but that doesn't cut it. That leaves 2 that had good ideas, actually gave input and possible solutions and when asked a question that one of them knew nothing about, was at least honest and deferred answering due to lack of knowledge. So lets see, 4 open positions and only 2 willing to speak out and think outside of what they are told. What to do....what to do.... 3 weeks, show time!
