Compliance Contact Info - Mayor Buckley and Julie Lockwood come thru for the City!!!

I requested an updated phone directory from Clerk Dan McMillan yesterday and I found something that has made myself and I know many of you will also be happy.  At the bottom of the thread there is a copy and paste of the Information Request.

If you notice that under the Public Works Heading Julie Lockwood is named as the Compliance Contact for the City of Beech Grove.

Many lies have been told by many politicians and private citizens in Beech Grove regarding how I feel and how the Blog is handled.  There is nothing personal about the Blog.   When someone posts about personal vendettas and all that other SPIN it's is just that, CRAP.

Documents aren't personal, documents are created by the City and can be requested and posted.  I don't make them up, I don't edit them to suit any agenda, they are what they are.  If you don't want a document that would make anyone perceive you in a bad way then don't do it in the first place right?

I want to be one of the first to compliment Mayor Buckley and especially Julie Lockwood for taking the step to make Beech Grove a cleaner and safer City by obviously naming her as the Compliance Contact person. This is fantastic for the City and will go a long way to making Beech Grove better every day.

Many people will want to know how to best contact Julie which makes sense.  If it was me I would take a photo of whatever your issue is and email it to her so that her Voicemail and Phone don't drive her crazy and having them in an email will make it easier for you and her to track everything for processing through the Beech Grove Codes regarding the issue you are having.

Kevin,

1. The Google request is still in limbo, I sent them another request earlier today.
2. I will send you an updated phone list today. I have tried calling in there myself,       It is a nightmare.
3.Yes, All but one have been filled electronically in fact I received my first E-Mail records request and per the persons request it was done electronically. It was in excess of one hundred and thirty E-Mails that were sent and received This was done by myself in approximately four hours the same day it was received at no cost to the citizen.
4.What I have discovered so far on the Greenway is the Parks Department had it in there plans under Mayor Wiley. When Mayor Wright became Mayor it became a RDC project. Terry Dilk President of the RDC and Cindy Kirkhofer Vice-President were the stake holders on the Greenway project. There were T&E Grants and TIF money used for this project. The TIF money would tie this back to the RDC in my opinion. At this time I have no plans for the Greenway. I will work on that.

Thanks,
Dan

1.How is the google request for all inbound and outbound emails coming?
2. Trying to call into city hall isn't pleasant.   Could you please email me an updated phone list?
3.  Have any other information requests been submitted and the information they requested was given to them in what form?
4. Ed Marks stated on a fb post that the greenway was a parks board project and not rdc.  He also stated that the Parks Board had all the details.   Could I get the plans from them please?

REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PERSON IN THE WORLD. JUST BECAUSE YOU CLICK THE REFRESH AND YOU THINK IT IS COUNTING UP THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE ON THE BLOG AND IT IS COUNTING YOU!

LOL. REALLY YOU THOUGHT THAT?

kevin it looks like the mayor nailed you for 89.00 and then wrongly posted on his facebook page that you were wrong when in fact you were right. emails can be given without printing them out which makes perfect sense. when will you be requesting that the city refund your money and you get a formal apology from the mayor?

Congrats on calling it like it is. This is great for the City and thanks for letting us all know!

boy do I have a lot of emails to send.

So electronic request can be handled the same day, huh I thought it took 8 days, the mayor, the IT guy, the city attorney and the building inspector alone on a Sunday afternoon in city hall to get that done.

Why is it that only certain people can comment on the facebook version of TOSBG blog?

Nate, I just checked the settings for the page and anyone can post on the page which is the way it is set up.

Are you sure you are looking at the right page?

A mistake by someone. Private cell phone numbers paid for by the employee should not be handed out. If the City wants to publish them they should pay the employee or provide the phone. Many have limited minutes.

So BG Helping Hands is part of the city?
Are they part of the farmers market group or are they a separate 501c3?

Anonymous said...

BG Helping Hands is NOT part of the city, nor have they ever accepted money. They operate on donations of material and labor only. All volunteer. They have nothing to do with the farmers market or anything else. They are strictly citizens helping other citizens. In fact, they were asked by the Mayor when to help paint guard rails on bridges, mow the median on Emerson and many other tasks that city employees are paid to do. They do not do this. They only help citizens that are in need.

No actually helping hand is a part of the CIA. They are secret group into Beech Grove to spy on everyone and report back to the powers that be. I just found this out recently please keep this a secret.

I know it is taboo to say something negative about DPW, but their performance has declined under the Buckley Administration. They don't pick up all the trash, leave leafs and clippings for weeks. The snow removal is almost non existent in some areas of the city or they go buy one time and it makes it worse because they don't come back. But now we are going to give them a pay raise and extra vacation days and new benefits? Did they earn this? It isn't even in the budget? This is a very bad move by Buckley. Mark my words, AFSCME will be making donations to his campaign in a few months. Then we will all know why Buckley had to spend our money on a union for 9 employees. Another example of poor leadership by our Mayor.

Haven't listened to the audio, but how did the votes end up by each BOW's member?

Anonymous said...

At about the 3:00 minute mark of last nights meeting the Mayor says he didn't include anyone from the BOW in meetings because he would of had to advertise it as a public meeting and he didn't want to do that. Are you kidding me? He doesn't want public input and wants to skirt open door laws? Wow!

10:44 are you really surprised by this? been going on since day 1

Pretty sad, but Buckley makes me wish Joe Wright was mayor again.

Ok...I was informed from the TOP DOG that we do not have a compliance officer. Julie is not it. Please stop spreading RUMORS. You say that you only posts FACTS. You have also stated that you have been told the same thing.

Anonymous said...

You know she is not the compliance officer.

If you say this document is from the city, atleast put it on the city letter head!

Come on, Kevin!

Anonymous said...

This is not true, Kevin. Julie is not the compliance officer.

Walk into any city office, you will see that exact phone list on the wall. It is not on city letter head because it is not a letter. As a city employee I can tell you that that is the phone list.

Is it true that the mayor and Julie plan on sitting at a table in front of Napoli Villa like the Sopranos did

Well I am sure they will want to enjoy their lunches outside while enjoying what tax $ paid for!
