A new paved road? What is the problem? I thought this was included kn Dan's paving budget?

Anonymous said...

Is that Franks house? What difference does it make? What's the big deal?? Just Saying!

Anonymous said...

Looks like if you are a Buckley supporter you get your street paved!!

Anonymous said...

The nit picking is getting bad. It is my understanding that paving was budgeted. Trying to make Frank look bad is a little over the top here.
He's done more good for this city via Indianapolis than anyone has in the past! What's your beef.

Anonymous said...

the beef seems pretty clear to me. there are many areas of the city that need paved, Dennis earmarked this tiny corner of a subdivision that has good roads, just for his buddies.

The favoritism (?) is overwhelming...

I would like the street I live on paved and I would also like speed bumps placed as they think it is a drag strip 60 in a residential area is dangerous...sooooooo i see that my need is greater and for the good of the citizens...I will be waiting for contact about this matter...bwaaaaaaaaa

They paved the bad area in Timber Grove also. Paving a street before it disintegrates is an excellent concept. Too bad Wright let the repaving get so far behind schedule. He spent the money on stupid stuff. Mayor Buckley is proactive and repairs a street at the right time and you try to make an issue out of it. I thought you wanted Beech Grove to be better Kevin?

Anonymous said...

Is that a tax payer's house? Does that tax payer own a business in Beech Grove? So he pays twice the taxes. If his business is successful then he draws people to Main St, which helps other businesses and generates more revenue for the city. Why don't we just put a speed bump on every street in BG. That should attract people into BG. Use your head for something other than a hat rack! If kids are racing up and down your street, go talk to their parents, or get a plate number and report them to the police. Put your man pants on and quit whining!

Anonymous said...

I thought the paving budget was set by your man Dan? However, you now blame the mayor.

You are a joke. Why have you not responded to these comments or on Facebook? I am sure you never would have guessed the people of BG would all disagree with you!

Anonymous said...

Isn't it crazy? Work is actually getting done in Beech Grove all thanks to mayor Buckley!

Anonymous said...

I think it's pretty funny that no one seems to be "outraged" about this like Kevin thought we would be!! Frank isn't the only person with a driveway on that court.

Anonymous said...

Uh-oh...my street has been repaved too!!! Oh & there is no one in government on my street.
Obviously Kevin has way too much time on his hands plus this looks like borderline stalking. Maybe it's time to seek some professional help. I love the work that's getting done around our city. It's coming along nicely.

Anonymous said...

How did that email request work out for you Kevin? We are still waiting...

Anonymous said...

what will the mayor do next year when he's spent all the paving money? maybe dip into rdc money like joe did? or beautify beech grove can raise him some money

Anonymous said...

Thanks for the excellent pictures of a newly repaved street in one of Beech Groves better areas. These pictures should be used as a promotion for the city. Good job Buckley, Dan or whomever!

It is really not that hard folks. 1. Buckley fought hard to defund the paving budget and give it to the fire department. FACT. 2. McMillan won the fight and kept the paving budget funded. FACT. 3. McMillan doesn't make the priority street list, Buckley does that. FACT. 4. The roads in Park Meadow were and are fine. FACT. 5. Other streets look like 3rd world countries. FACT. 6. Wiley and Mascari are HUGE campaign donors and supporters of Buckley. FACT. 7. Buckley paved their small section or road. FACT. I hope that clears it up. Good grief.

I will fill n the blanks: GREAT WORK MAYOR BUCKLEY AND DAN MCMILLAN. Far better work than the previous administration. Keep the good stories coming Kev.

Anonymous said...

What the what?!?!?! Thanks for allowing us to see another GREAT thing accomplished by Buckley! I rarely go in that part of BG and never would have known! It appears Kevin has finally seen the light and all the good that is happening!

Anonymous said...

filling in the blanks is easy. mascari didn't even campaign to get elected and thought it was a joke and now that he is in office everyone talks about all he has done for us. I would like to see what he has done besides vote with his own party on every issue. Wiley was a joke as Mayor and has made his kid six figures a year until Buckley is thrown out of office in the next election. It doesn't surprise me that his people think this is ok because that is the way they do business. Suck off the taxpayer tit and give it all to your buddies.

Paving a street that didn't need it in the richest neighborhood in the city is a joke. The people defending him are more interested in politics than the city just like the mayor is obviously.

Anonymous said...

Look for Frank to step it up a notch to legislator. He has defended anything that would effect BG as a councilman, in a positive way! Why would you not want a BG citizen to sit on the Indy city council?

Anonymous said...

It is funny to read the pro Buckley comments on here. It is easy to see that it is the same person. Your prose is the same with every comment! Probably the same person that creates fake facebook people to cheer lead for Buckley. Pathetic.

Kevin-

Explain why you did not throw a hissy fit when you gave all credit to Dan your man for increasing the paving budget! Now it is all Buckley's fault? I am confused. Do you have photos if the road prior to being fixed? I assume not, and just assuming it did not need fixed because your are shooting in the dark an have nothing else to complain about this week. You make me laugh.

Where are those emails you through a huge stink about?

Kevin Roessler said...

Another example of how bad you are at spin.

Buckley largely ignored the paving issue in the city and the proof is posted on the Blog with the statement about how much the Clerk added to the Budget.

The Mayor chooses which streets get paved which should be changed. I propose in the 2014 budget that the streets to be paved should be specifically named in the budget and it should be voted on by the City Council to help negate the blatant handing out to political buddies taxpayer funds.

Lastly, when someone posts documents or pictures proving an action or issue that is not a complaint. It is a posting that makes taxpayers aware of what is going on with their money.

It's not funny and should not make you laugh.

To a person, EVERYONE involved in Buckley's campaign were in your words, "complaining" about the very things that Mayor Buckley is doing and has done. Why are all of you putting yourselves before the taxpayers?

That's not a laughing matter, it's a betrayal of what you all said you were going to do.

Mayor Wiley showed up and bitched publicly about Joe Wright raising the Sewer rates. Where was he when Buckley raised them more than Joe Wright did?

Frank Mascari showed up for City Council meetings running his mouth about transparency and voices being heard when the city makes decisions. Where is he when the Mayor states in a public meeting that he intentionally left our the BOW members because then he would have had to advertise a public meeting?

The people who have betrayed the City and those that defend them are the problem, not the people who are watching you...

Anonymous said...

Alert, alert, alert!

Buckley is also giving Mascari a new Main Street, side walks, sewers, water lines, and parking in front if his business!

Call channel 6, this is getting to be too much!

Anonymous said...

Call Channel 6...that is funny. Kevin will take pictures and blog about it! I like the paved roads & it was needed. Too bad it ruffled your feathers but hey it seems any progress does. Good luck with this rant.

Anonymous said...

anyone see the new black fence going in front of Napoli's? their money or cities?

Anonymous said...

Alert! Alert! Alert!

Taxpayer dollars are giving all citizens and businesses on Main Street new sewers sidewalks and streets.pd Buckley gave it to Park Meadow and a new paved alley for Diane Hendricks. All contributors. Neither one needed done.

Anonymous said...

I live in park meadow. This was not needed. We complained about the sidewalks buckling in front of our addition and the cities response was its the association's responsibility to maintain it. Streets are no different. On top of that, there was nothing wrong with that circle. This is a clear case of paying back supporters. This was necessary for Buckley since he is losing supporters daily.

Quit flooding the BG site with promoting your stupid one sided blog. Julie is NOT the compliance officer & quit telling everyone to contact her. Get a life.

Anonymous said...

Oh Julie, you wanted more money answer the phone and tell them a story it's what you and Buckley do.

Anonymous said...

We pay taxes to Marion County and are able to use the compliance officer provided to our city from them. Why pay for someone when we are able to get the service for "free."

That phone list also says Helping Hands are part of the city. Is that true? If so, why should I be paying taxes to fund another supposed non for profit?

Anonymous said...

What is Mike Jarvis' job title for the city?

If you read the phone list you would see next to Julie's name it say's (Compliance) BG Helping hands is not part of the city as stated before. Just because they are kind enough to list the # for others that need help on this phone list, doesn't make it part of the city. If you can read, you will also see the IPL, Citizens Gas, etc and many more on listed on their also. So Julie, take the calls you asked for, do you job and shut up. Try earning that extra money you shouldn't be making....

Anonymous said...

Oh hey it says Helping Hands so all of you people are wrong. It's printed so it HAS to be true.

Anonymous said...

So Julie if you are not the compliance officer, why is it on the phone list? Who is if not you? Who do you forward the complaints to that you receive? Thank you
